As there seems to be some confusion regarding what's not allowed on .ca (and is related to Tegan and Sara), here's a quick guide on what cannot be posted:
- Commercial releases of Tegan and Sara's music, books and DVDs
This includes all songs released by Tegan and Sara, including B-sides and bonus tracks. This is a Tegan and Sara FAN site and we encourage you to actually support them by buying their music.
NOTE: Posting live recordings is perfectly fine.
Some other things that aren't ok: The Con DVD chapters, scans from ON/IN/AT etc.
Tegan and Sara album leaks are, understandably, a big no and will get you banned. - Personal photos related to Tegan and Sara
What does this mean? Personal photos which were clearly not intended for the public arena aren't allowed to be posted on .ca. For example, family photos, photos from their friends, photos from their private events etc.
Common sense tells you what is not ok to post - if it feels like it's not the best thing to post, you are probably right. The admin/moderator team will use their discretion and remove anything that is considered 'inappropriate' - we respect Tegan and Sara's privacy and expect members to do the same.
Not everything is off limits, though! There's loads of other things that are fine to post! Photos taken by other photographers are fine (if you have the source or the author, don't forget to credit them!), photos published by Tegan and Sara are perfectly fine, same goes for any live photos, photos of them with you/your friends are ok, live photos are a great thing, promo photos, article scans etc. This is all good and encouraged
Please, keep in mind that requests of personal photos and commercial releases aren't allowed either!
